Early Childhood

Nursery (6 weeks to 18 months)

Parents need spiritual renewal! Often times, checking in a baby can be difficult. It is our goal to caringly and confidently help parents teach their children the importance of coming to church for both parties.

Did you know that there are 5 specific developmental stages that span this age group? We do! We have chose toys for each developmental stage. We feel this is the best way to minister to these children. Your child will be read to, played with, and occupied the whole time she or he is in our care.

Toddler (18 months to 3 yrs)

The toddler age is the most exciting age of them all! Little hands and feet are working at a furious pace to play, play, play! Our goal for ministry in this room is to provide a fun nurturing environment that this age group will absolutely love. Role playing toys, and toys that spark imaginations are purposely chosen. We begin to introduce routine by having a song and snack time. Social training is also a huge part of ministry to this age group. Learning to share, take turns, and use of the potty are milestones we take seriously!

Pre-school (3 and 4 yrs)

As children in this age group near attending school, we begin to add more structure and routine to their times with us. Each Sunday they will learn a Bible story, learn and sing a fun Bible song, do a related craft, and of course have a snack time. Toys relevant to this age group are also used before and after lessons. There is a total of 35-40 minutes of structured learning time per class session.
